This is one of those images that Juergen is always hunting for, but very rarely comes across. So many conditions aligned perfectly to catch a group of juvenile Kea, one of our favourite birds, swooping across a pale, white-washed winter landscape. If you haven't met any Kea yet, it's a bucket-list must. They're a native to New Zealand and the worlds only alpine parrot, and they have a cheeky character that outshines the richest of New Zealand personalities.
