About Us

Juergen's passion for landscape and wildlife photography brought him to the West Coast of the South Island nearly two decades ago. He lives in Hokitika with his wife Monika and daughter Anna, where the family established the Wilderness Gallery, creating the perfect environment to profile Juergens’ fresh and inspiring imagery and to showcase the beauty of the Coast. The love for the West Coast has become a major source of inspiration in their lives.

We strive to offer an experience  - from the relaxing and refreshing ambiance, then following through with the unique and authentic art and giftware we choose and the tasteful displays we create, to the warm and friendly service we provide.
